Cooling is the process of transferring heat/chill between fluids. Settima is able to offer both three screw pumps and Continuum® pumps that are ideally suitable for chillers and coolers

Settima pumps are used to move the fluid from the heat source to the fan unit, where the air cools the fluid. Coolers are compact fan refrigeration units, ideal for small, simple circuits and are usually preferred when there's a low amount of heat to dissipate, for example in pump test benches. Chillers are utilized when there's a larger quantity of heat to dissipate, for example, in machine tools applications.

Settima has addressed the needs of the cooling applications market, by developing 2 three-screws pumps series, SMT8B pump and SMT16B pump. Both of these pumps are specifically designed with the high-technology, high-efficiency, low noise capabilities typical of Settima products, to be used in fan cooler units and in more complex coolant oil refrigeration systems.
