Settima is pleased to report that the audit for the new ISO TS 29001 certification for Oil & Gas was successful.

Settima has required and achieved the ISO / TS 29001 because companies working in the oil and gas industry need a specific system of quality management. Unlike existing international standards, such as ISO 9001: 2008, representing generic standards that meet the needs of multiple industries, the ISO / TS 29001 responds to a more rigorous engineering and compliance with the requirements of the Oil & Gas sector, including a multitude of products, processes and considerations regarding the safety of the working staff and public. Another element of fundamental importance for this certification for the Oil & Gas sector is the close cooperation provided by the American Petroleum Institute (API).
The ISO / TS 29001, "Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Sector-specific quality management systems - Requirements for product and service supply Organizations", is expected to become the basis of unique and common global requirements of management systems for quality of industries working in the Oil & Gas.
